Tornado reported in western Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS - The National Weather Service says it has received a report of a tornado sighting in western Minnesota.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a tornado on the ground south east of St. Leo at about 4:10 p.m.

The tornado damaged three rural farm sites, officials said. They said the damage includes but was not limited to machine sheds, grain bins, out buildings and residences. There was minimal damage to homes.

No injuries were reported.

St. Leo is about three hours west of Minneapolis.
