ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Twin Cities Jazz Festival is taking over St. Paul for the 19th year in a row.
The festival started in 1999 as a celebration of jazz that would be free of charge for all to experience, and has continued to be free as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ever since.
Last year, the jazz fest drew 90,000 people out to Mears Park in St. Paul's Lowertown district. The festival has taken place in St. Paul since 2009.
