MINNEAPOLIS - The day after Jeronimo Yanez was found not guilty on all counts related to the fatal shooting of Philando Castile, protesters took to the streets in Minneapolis.

After Friday night protests in St. Paul that ended in 18 arrests on I-94, Castile supporters gathered at Loring Park in Minneapolis at 5 p.m. Saturday. The group was organized in part by Nekima Levy-Pounds, candidate for Minneapolis mayor.

The group grew to about 150 people and marched to Hennepin Avenue, where they blocked the intersection at Fifth Street.

Metro Transit said buses were delayed.

Marchers also stopped outside of the downtown Minneapolis Downtown Police precinct.. By about 8:30 p.m. they were back in Loring Park, and the crowd was beginning to thin out in the rain.
