Tulips Tips:
*Availability: Last half of October through May
*Colors: a variety of colors and bi colors.
*Lasting Quality: 3 to 7 days
*Meaning: Fame; Perfect Lover; Red: Declaration of Love; believe me; Varigated Beautiful Eyes; Enchantment
*Special Care: Process in cold water, using Bulb Food. Tulips naturally open and grow toward a light source. Tulips will continue to grow after they are cut, cold water will allow them to open slower, and there is no known procedure to prevent them from opening. You can not trust a tulip; they will not stay where they are put, and they dance to the light, so let them and enjoy the show.
Tulip Arrangements:
Open for Spring
Bulb food
1 medium clear vase
1 stem curly willow branch
12 stems bear grass
1 to 2 bunches tulips (depending on vase size)
Circle the curly willow and bear grass inside the vase. Clean and add tulip stems in and around the branches.
Circle of Life
Bulb food
1 low round bowl
1/3 bunch Flexi Grass
1 bu tulip
1 floating candle
Clean foliage from stem, curl Flexi grass on inside, gently lay tulips in and around Flexi curling the stems, heads under water. Change water daily.
Support Spring
1 container
Floral foam soaked in fresh water with bulb food
1 package Panchu Spring
1 bunch tulip
1 hand moist moss
Wet foam is ¼" below the container surface, place in Panchu add tulip, cover foam with moss.

1 bunch tulip
Twist aluminum wire to make a grid on the top and sides of the vase, place tulips in and around wire, pinch wire around tulip for security.
Tulip Topiary
1 container
1 piece wet floral foam soaked in fresh water with bulb food
5 permanent botanical bulbs
1 bunch tulips
1 yard ribbon
Foam is below the lip of the container. Place 5 tulips directly in center of foam, insert next 5 through permanent botanical bulb into foam, Secure at top with ribbon.

1 aspidistra leaf
2 yards metallic wire
Make a hand tie with the tulips, cut and wrap aspidistra leaf around the base. Decorate with ribbon and wire, place in vase at an angle.
