GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- High school student Blake Mattson is grilling up Teriyaki Hawaiian burgers in tonight's Backyard BBQ. Blake said he likes this recipe because most Minnesotans haven't tried this kind of burger, let alone heard of it. Blake also says it's one of the juiciest burgers you will ever taste!
1 lb of ground beef
1 1.25 oz pack of grill mates hawaiian Luau marinade
1 cup of teriyaki sauce
1 can of sliced pineapple (light syrup if possible)
mayo soy sauce whole wheat english muffins
Mix ground beef grill mates packet and teriyaki sauce together by hand. Make patties and place a slice of pineapple on each side of the patty. Put on grill and let cook. Mix mayo and soy sauce together. Toast english muffins if possible. Spread mayo soy sauce mix on english muffin. When burgers are done put them in the muffin and enjoy!
