MINNEAPOLIS - Xcel Energy crews have restored Wednesday night's power outage in St. Louis Park and Minneapolis.

Xcel Energy says the outage was caused by a "cable failure."

Officials say the power went out at about 6:49 p.m Wednesday and restored by 8:06 p.m.

4,250 customers were affected in Minneapolis and St. Louis Park.
