GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Several communities are declaring snow emergencies as a winter storm moves across much of the state.
Here is a list of cities that have issued snow emergencies:
Bloomington - The City of Bloomington has declared a snow emergency for Sunday February 10th and Monday February 11th.
Crystal - Snow emergency in effect until midnight Tuesday. No parking on any streets until they have been plowed curb to curb.
Golden Valley - The City will be plowing all city streets beginning at 12 a.m. (midnight) on February 10, 2013. No parking is allowed on any street until plowing has been completed.
Hopkins - The City of Hopkins will begin towing and plowing operations after 9:30 p.m. February 10th. Any vehicle left on the street or in a public parking lot will be towed. The snow emergency is in effect until streets have been cleared.
Mendota Heights - Snow emergency declared effective February 10th. Vehicles must be off the streets until your street is plowed full-width.
Minneapolis - The City is asking residents to move cars off snow emergency routes by 9 p.m. Sunday night. Even side plowing starts Monday at 8 a.m. They are also asking residents to remember to shovel sidewalks and around garbage carts. For details on parking rules, click here.
Robbinsdale - Snow emergency declared. No parking on city streets until plowed curb to curb.
Sauk Centre - The City of Sauk Centre has declared a snow emergency starting at 10 p.m. on February 10th. The emergency is in effect for 24 hours until lifted. Click here for more information.
St. Cloud - The City of St. Cloud has issued a snow emergency effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, February 11th. The emergency will be in effect for 72 hours unless rescinded earlier. For more information, click here.
