GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Former Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Steve Hutchinson will announce his retirement, according to a report from Fox's Jay Glazer.
Hutchinson is regarded as one of the best interior offensive linemen of his generation.
According to Glazer, Hutchinson said a knee injury which was slow to heal helped convince him to end his career. He's expected to make the announcement on Tuesday.
A seven-time Pro Bowler, the 35-year-old Hutchinson played six seasons in Minnesota before moving on to Tennessee in 2012.
