HINCKLEY, Minn. - A military veteran who was struck in a hit-and-run on Interstate 35 last week has died, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Trevor Langlois, 24, of Wyoming, MN, underwent hours of surgery at St Mary's Hospital in Duluth after he was hit. His father, Brian Langlois, says his son had suffered multiple fractures, internal injuries and head trauma.
Brian Langlois told KARE 11 that Trevor had just purchased a truck near Hinckley to help him start a tree service. The truck apparently broke down near the ramp off Fire Monument Road, and Trevor was standing or walking on the right shoulder of the interstate when he was struck.
Trevor Langlois was a veteran, and father of a two year old child.
Investigators from the Minnesota State Patrol are trying to locate the driver who struck Trevor.
Anyone who knows anything about the hit-and-run who may be responsible is asked to call the Minnesota State Patrol in Duluth at 218-320-6127.
