ST. PAUL - The child whose feet were severed by a train on Thursday night is in fair condition at Gillette Children's Specialty Health Care.
Marshawn Kenneth Farr-Robinson, 9, was playing near the tracks by his home at Ivy Avenue West and Farrington Street when he apparently slipped and had his feet severed under the wheels of a freight train.
Witnesses say despite his significant injuries the boy managed to crawl from the tracks toward the street before reaching two neighbors who were outside.
The incident is considered a terrible accident, and no foul play is suspected.
