ROBERTS, Wis. -- A western Wisconsin man is awaiting sentencing after admitting to starting a fire at Saint Croix Elementary School.
Justin Nelson pleaded guilty to one count of arson. He was accused of breaking into the school in April then setting it on fire.
Classes at the school had to be canceled and students were forced to finish out the year at a nearby Girl Scout camp.
Repairs to the school were made over the summer and cost an estimated $4 million.
Nelson is due back in court Oct. 18.
