MINNEAPOLIS - It's a rather warm morning with temperatures starting in the upper 60s and low 70s across the metro as warmer & more muggy air moves into the region. With that increase in heat & humidity comes the increased risk of at least a few thunderstorms. Expect the possibility of spotty t-storms  developing later today with a mix of clouds & sun and highs in the mid 80s.

Overnight thunderstorms become more likely before a break during much of the day Friday. By Friday evening more t-storms are possible with highs near 90 Friday afternoon and dew points approaching the tropical 70 degree mark. We'll have spotty t-storms around through the weekend with highs in the upper 80s to near 90. We stay rather warm into next week.
