MINNEAPOLIS - Light snow showers will continue throughout the day. As much at 2" to 3" of fluffy accumulation is possible by late Sunday evening. Isolated areas south and east of the Twin Cites may see upwards of 4" of snow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Twin Cities and surrounding areas south/east. Temperatures won't be as cold reaching the lower teens - southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.
The frigid air returns Monday. Highs retreat to the single-digits with overnight lows below zero through Wednesday. We'll see a slight rebound in temps late-week. Expect highs in the teens Thursday and lower 20s Friday.
