MINNEAPOLIS - The bitter cold returns overnight as skies clear and the last of the flakes move out. With temperatures dropping overnight to near 0 degrees the deep freeze moves back in. A Wind Chill Advisory for western Minnesota has been extended to include the metro.
We stay in the single digits throughout the day tomorrow with partly cloudy skies before sub-zero reading return with a few flurries Tuesday morning.
The ultra cold temperatures continue into Thursday morning before conditions improve somewhat with teens for highs on Thursday afternoon. Looking into next weekend the weather looks quiet and cool, but not frigid. 20's for Friday through Sunday are a little below averages but much more tolerable than our next few days.
