MINNEAPOLIS - It's a warm, muggy morning Monday morning with temps in the 60s and dew points also in the muggy 60s. We'll see some peeks of sunshine today and that'll push temps easily into the 70s, if not near 80 again. That will also help to touch off more showers & thunder potentially. The risk of severe storms today will be mainly east of the Twin Cities into far southeast Minnesota & Wisconsin. Winds will pick up at 7-18 mph from the S/SE.

Overnight we'll continue to see the risk of scattered showers & thunderstorms. Spotty showers will linger through Tuesday and Wednesday before cooler, drier air stablizes the atmosphere again. The holiday weekend is looking pretty good now with highs in the 70s & just isolated thunderstorms possible.
