MINNEAPOLIS - Skies will remain clear tonight setting the stage for a chilly night.  Temperatures are going to fall into the lower 40s with upper 30s possible in the suburbs.  Winds will be light from the east at 5 to 10 mph.

After a cool start, temperatures will rebound nicely into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees Friday.  Look for a few late-afternoon clouds preceding showers and thunderstorms in western Minnesota.  We'll see a chance of thunderstorms in the Twin Cities, but not until late, mainly after sunset through the overnight hours.

Expect showers and storms to linger through the morning Saturday.  Much of the afternoon is going to be dry - temps in the lower 60s.  More scattered showers and storms are likely Sunday and Memorial Day - highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The unsettled weather continues through much of next week.  The forecast is calling for the chance of storms Tuesday through Thursday with warmer temperatures, highs in the lower 80s by Wednesday.
