MINNEAPOLIS - After a few lingering morning showers today much of the day looks dry. However lingering cloud cover keeps us cool with highs in the low 60's. We may see a few peeks of sunshine this afternoon, but clouds overall will remain thick.
We stay dry overnight before shower and thunderstorm chances return for tomorrow. Throughout Sunday and Monday there is a chance for our unsettled atmosphere to give us some rain and thunder. Highs Sunday head to the middle 60's while Monday tops out near 70 with a better chance of seeing some sun.
The chance for showers and storms continues through next week, although we will have more sun than this weekend, and warmer temperatures. Highs near 80 are possible Tuesday through midweek. Current models predict Tuesday as the wettest of the week days and Wednesday as the warmest and driest.
