MINNEAPOLIS - Temperatures only go up from here with 80's and even a chance at 90 degrees in the forecast. Tonight will be pleasant with seasonable lows near 60 degrees and partly cloudy skies.

The warmer air begins to push in tomorrow from the southwest with an afternoon high near 80. Most of the day tomorrow appears quiet and partly cloudy, although a late-day chance for an isolated t-storm isn't out of the question.

There is however a better chance for scattered storms, perhaps strong, beginning Thursday and lasting through the weekend. Temperatures peak Saturday with a forecasted high of 90 degrees.  Waves of showers and storms are expected and the best chance for them is generally evening into the overnight hours.  At this point Sunday looks like the wettest day, although a slight risk of severe t-storms has been issued by the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma for Thursday.
