MINNEAPOLIS - Skies cleared out overnight Wednesday night and that means lots of sunshine all day Thursday and most of Friday too. Expect highs in the upper 60s this afternoon with a north breeze at 8-15 mph.

Overnight we'll see some cool readings again, back down into the mid 40s under clear skies. Temps will top out near 70 Friday with more sunshine. Clouds will move back in Friday evening with overnight showers & thunderstorms Friday night into early Saturday. Clouds will linger into the weekend with at least isolated showers & storms Saturday & Sunday. This will keep temperatures a little cooler, in the 60s. Highs will get  back close to 80 by Tuesday & Wednesday but there's at least the chance of showers & a thunderstorm each day Saturday through Wednesday as the atmosphere again becomes unsettled.
