MINNEAPOLIS - More cold air is flowing into the metro early Monday. Temperatures will drop through the mid morning to near zero, or even a degree below zero before rebounding to around 1 or 2 this afternoon. Wind chill values this morning will be between -10 to -25. Winds will remain a bit high at 10-17 mph from the west through the day.
Overnight clouds will roll back in with temps dropping back to -1 and a few light snow showers and flurries late tonight/early Tuesday. It will be a mostly insignificant event with just a dusting to maybe 1/2" of snow in a few isolated spots. Temps will drop well below zero tomorrow night with single digit highs yet Wednesday before we see a bit of a warm up. Temps in the upper teens Thursday, 20s Friday!
