BUFFALO, Minn. - Authorities in Wright County are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect who carried out the robbery of a business Wednesday.
Deputies were called to the Tesoro station in the city of South Haven around 7:30 p.m. after a reported robbery. The clerk told investigators that the suspect reached across the counter while the cash register was open and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the till.
The man then fled from the store on foot. Law enforcement searched the area but was unable to locate the robber. The sheriff says the suspect did not show a weapon or imply that he had one.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20's, between 5 foot 9 and 5 foot 11 inches tall. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket with a zipper and blue jeans.
