CINCINNATI - The fire department in Cincinnati says 13 people have been taken to hospitals with minor injuries from a partial collapse at a casino under construction.

Fire department spokeswoman Jennifer Spieser says it's not clear what collapsed Friday morning at the casino site downtown.

The casino is being developed by Rock Gaming in partnership with Caesar's Entertainment. A spokeswoman for the developers says they're assessing the situation.

Messer Construction Co. of Cincinnati says it's trying to determine what happened.

Roads around the casino have been closed by police.

A partial collapse of a garage at another Ohio casino under construction occurred last month. That casino in Cleveland also is being developed by the Rock Gaming-Caesar's partnership. No one was injured in that collapse.
