ST. PAUL, Minn. - Two Republicans seeking the White House are bringing their campaigns to Minnesota this weekend.

Neither is a front-runner, but both haven't wavered in their efforts to seek the party nomination.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul travels in Saturday for three appearances. The congressman, popular among libertarian-minded Republicans, is holding town halls and rallies in Rochester, Chanhassen and Arden Hills.

Paul heads home Sunday, but will return Monday for events in St. Cloud and Minneapolis.

"We're delighted to have Ron Paul return to Minnesota where last November he attracted more than 3,000 supporters to a rally held in St. Cloud," said Marianne Stebbins, the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign's Minnesota Chair. "Dr. Paul's upcoming visit will energize supporters and promises to help us achieve a strong showing in the upcoming caucus."

Meanwhile, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum drops in Sunday for a morning-until-night slate of events. His schedule includes a swing north to Bemidji to tour the clothing manufacturer that makes his signature sweater vests.

Other Santorum stops include a church appearance in Eden Prairie and a Super Bowl party in Lake Waconia.

Local backers of contenders Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich anticipate their candidates will also work in Minnesota stops before Tuesday's caucuses.
