EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A 43-year-old Richfield man is accused of robbing a home in Eden Prairie on Monday while police watched.

The Hennepin County attorney's office says Stuart Eugene Pesheck was seen pulling his vehicle into a garage of a home in Eden Prairie. Officers saw Pesheck exit the garage after several minutes.

A check of the house showed the back door had been pried open and several wires had been cut. Pesheck was then pulled over and arrested.

The homeowner identified multiple missing items from her home including a flat screen television, laptop computers and some jewelry. The items were found in Pesheck's car.

Officers also recovered a pry bar, three pairs of gloves, a pair of wire cutters and needle nose pliers from Pesheck's car.

Pesheck did admit to police to committing the burglary. He was charged Wednesday with one felony count of second degree burglary.

Pesheck was being investigated by Eden Prairie police and seven other law enforcement agencies. He is believed to have been involved with a string of recent burglaries in the southwest metro.
