GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - It's not "officially" the holiday weekend but metro motorists will be grinding their teeth as a handful of projects will completely close down a number of busy roads.
The intersection of Highway 65/Central Avenue and Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday as crews do major concrete work.
In Savage both directions of Highway 13 between 126th Street and Highway 101 will be shut down from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for as part of the Hightway 13/101 construction project.
Down the road a ways in Burnsville, also on Highway 13, both directions will be shut down between Interstate 35W and Cliff Road from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for resurfacing.
