CRYSTAL, Minn. - A vulnerable adult who was reported missing from Crystal Tuesday night has been found safe on the other side of the Twin Cities.
Investigators say 67-year-old Darryl Ekstrom was located in St. Paul around 1 p.m. Wednesday. St. Paul Police say he was found to be in good condition.
Ekstrom rode away from his Crystal home on the 6000 block of Medicine Lake Road on his white bicycle around 4 p.m. Tuesday, and hadn't been seen since.
Darryl Ekstrom suffers from Alzheimer's disease: He is known to frequently talk about visiting Wheeler Park in Duluth, and it's possible that he may have been looking for a park when he left home.
