OAKDALE, Minn. - An Oakdale day care operator is accused of locking three children without shoes or jackets in an outdoor shed last winter.
The charges allege 43-year-old Jennifer Lynn Goldetsky put the children in the shed because two social workers were waiting at her door and she had too many children in her care.
Goldetsky is charged with two counts of child endangerment and two counts of child neglect.
Her attorney, Pamela Cecchini, tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press her client is innocent.
According to the complaint, the social workers made an unannounced visit to Goldetsky's day care last February.
A mother who had arrived to drop off her daughter says she saw Goldetsky go into the backyard with three boys. The complaint says Goldetsky returned to the house without the boys.
