DANBURY, Wis. - The death of a 3-year-old girl in northwest Wisconsin is being called accidental.

The body of Reena Williams, who went missing Tuesday evening, was found late Wednesday afternoon in a canal 25 yards from her family's home on a peninsula on the Yellow River.

Thursday afternoon, the Burnett County Medical Examiner says the cause of death was accidental drowning.

"There were no signs of foul play," Mike Maloney told KARE 11. His preliminary report was conducted after an autopsy was ordered Thursday.

Maloney said the full report will be ready in four to six weeks.
