ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Police have identified the St. Cloud woman killed early Thursday in a domestic altercation.
Squads responded to a home on the 2700 block of Atwood Drive shortly after 12:30 a.m. on reports of a loud disturbance from two people arguing. Upon arrival they found 68-year-old Geraldine Delores Bennett suffering from stab wounds. She was rushed to St. Cloud Hospital where Bennett was pronounced dead.
The victim's 40-year-old son, a resident of Rosemount, was arrested on the scene and is currently in custody on pending charges of 2nd degree murder. Bennett's husband was inside the home at the time of the stabbing and is said to be cooperating with authorities.
