FARGO, ND - Campus police have given officials at North
Dakota State University (NDSU) the green light to reopen campus and resume classes after a bomb threat Friday morning.
Campus will reopen at 1 p.m., with classes resuming at 2 p.m.
All staff and students were ordered to evacuate all NDSU buildings on campus and downtown following the threat, which was made via phone shortly before 10 a.m.
Fargo police and agents from the FBI descended on campus to determine whether the threat was legitimate or a hoax. At this time there are no reports of anyone in custody.
The evacuation order at NDSU came about the same time as one issued at The University of Texas (UT) at Austin, where officials also say they received a bomb threat. FBI spokesman Kyle Loven says the agency is trying to determine if the two threats were related.
The UT campus has also been reopened.
