BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- It was a scary night at Buck Hill's haunted house, and it wasn't because of ghouls or goblins.
Burnsville Fire Chief B.J. Jungmann says a fire erupted just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday engulfing a temporary structure. According to Jungmann, fire crews saw flames shooting though the roof when they arrived.
The haunted house was set to open October 5th and authorities say the structure was vacant at the time of the fire.
Crews from Burnsville and Lakeville were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Jungmann says they are looking into the cause of the fire.
