ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud police are looking for information about the driver who hit a pedestrian Friday morning then drove away.
A 50-year-old Waite Park resident reported being hit by a blue or gray mid-size sport-utility vehicle or crossover while walking south across Division Street in a crosswalk at Waite Avenue. The vehicle may have had yellow dealer placards instead of license plates, listing a dealership that might have started with the letter "S."
The victim, who declined medical treatment, said the vehicle stopped briefly and the victim spoke to the driver - a white woman in her late 60s to early 70s with glasses and sandy hair worn in a bun.
Also in the vehicle was a man in his 70s with gray hair and glasses.
The driver soon drove away, headed east on Division Street.
Anyone with information can call St. Cloud police at (320) 251-1200.
