ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A report of explosions brought out the bomb squad in Saint Paul Saturday evening.
Authorities responded to an alley in the 500 block of Front Avenue just after 5 p.m. where they found evidence of a small explosion.
Several nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution and the area was taped off while police and fire officials investigated.
Authorities say it was not a sophisticated device and no damage was done to property.
Investigators were still trying to figure out who set off the device.
