BOSTON -- Police say a group of subway commuters in the Boston area rushed to the rescue of a Minnesota woman.
54-year-old Tamara Woodard of Moorhead was standing on a subway platform, talking with her husband and some friends, when she apparently stepped too far back and fell onto the tracks at Kendall Square Station.
Her husband and four others jumped onto the tracks to get her to safety.
Aside from some minor neck and back pain, Woodard is uninjured.
