GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- The annual IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park display is up and running for the fourth year in a row.
Visitors are invited to take in 50 larger-than-life, glittering holiday LED light sculptures-including the castle, the biggest lights structure in the state of Minnesota-along an enchanting half mile route. The energy-efficient lights are set up throughout St. Paul's Phalen Park.
Once again, 15 Minnesota artists came together to create an accompanying soundtrack to benefit four local charities: Second Harvest Heartland, Union Gospel Mission, St. Paul Parks Conservancy, and UnderConstruction. The CDs are available at metro area Kowalski's Markets, and feature Christmas standards performed by artists like The Blenders, Keri Noble, Tim Mahoney, T. Michael Rambo and many others. "Home for the Holidays: A Minnesota Christmas Vol. 3" concert takes place December 4 at Pantages Theatre.
Holiday Lights in the Park runs nightly from 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. now through January 1, 2012.
