court for UCLA made at least one field goal.
Texas was led by freshman Cameron Ridley's double-double of 14 points and 10
rebounds. Javan Felix added 13 points and four assists while Sheldon McClellan

combining to knock down just 1-of-16 3-point attempts. UCLA assisted on
just three of it's 15 made baskets but still led the Longhorns after the first
period, 32-30.
Texas led by as many as eight points late in the game but UCLA used an 11-0
run to take a three point lead with less than a minute remaining. Jonathan
Holmes hit a tough shot to cut the deficit to one with six seconds left.
Muhammad then made just one of two free throw attempts, leaving the
Longhorns with a chance to win the game or send it to overtime, but
Holmes' 3-point attempt missed at the buzzer and the Bruins survived.
With the win, UCLA knots the all-time series at three wins apiece.
