Eugene, OR (Sports Network) - The Oregon Ducks got 35 points from their bench
as they cruised to an 87-35 victory over the Idaho State Bengals at Matthew
Knight Arena.
Damyean Dotson led the way for Oregon (8-1) with 12 points, while Arsalan
Kazemi, Tony Woods and Dominic Artis all scored 11. Willie Moore dropped eight
points off the bench after not scoring in the previous four contests. Oregon
won the rebounding battle by a large margin, 47-19.
Melvin Morgan was the lone Bengal in double figures with 11 points. Idaho
State (1-6) shot just 27.9 percent as a team.
The Bengals led 5-4 in the early going before Oregon ran off 17 straight to
take a commanding 21-4 lead. The Ducks kept their foot on the pedal and
closed the half with a 33-11 run. They shot 20-of-31 from the floor and
led 54-16 after the first period.
ISU continued to struggle from the floor in the second half as the Bengals
shot 6-of-24 primarily against the Ducks' reserves. E.J. Singler led the Ducks
with 25 minutes played while three members of the Bengals played 34 minutes or
more.
Oregon improved to 5-1 all-time against Idaho State.
