MINNETONKA, Minn. - Thursday morning the Red Bull Crashed Ice course will open for three days of intense competition in St. Paul.   

The international field will begin the preliminary runs down the icy slope in St. Paul on Thursday, with the finals being run Saturday night.  

Until that time though, there's no real place to train, so a handful of qualifiers can be found on Lake Minnetonka this week, getting some runs in on a makeshift strip complete with ramps and jumps.
