ST. PAUL, Minn. - The start time for St. Paul's big Crashed Ice competition was pushed back Thursday afternoon due to the frigid temps and their impact on course conditions.
Officials told KARE 11's Dave Berggren that sustained sub-zero temps had made the ice on the twisted brittle and chippy, so the decision was made to push back the start time for the Crashed Ice National Shootout from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Temperatures will be climbing as the weekend evolves so conditions should improve.
