Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) - What a way to earn your first road win of the
season.
Marcus Smart tallied 26 points and nine rebounds and Oklahoma State snapped
No. 2 Kansas' 33-game home winning streak in an 85-80 triumph on Saturday.
Kansas' 33-game home winning streak was the second longest active stretch in
the country behind Syracuse, which has registered 35 consecutive home wins.
It's the Cowboys' first win in Lawrence since 1989 and their first victory
over a top-five team on the road since 1958.
Markel Brown added 28 points for Oklahoma State (15-5, 5-3 Big 12), which came
into the tilt 0-4 away from Stillwater. The Cowboys have won three straight
games.
Ben McLemore netted 23 points to lead the Jayhawks (19-2, 7-1), who had their
18-game winning streak snapped.
