Olean, NY (Sports Network) - In an Atlantic-10 Conference matchup,
Eric Mosley scored 14 points for St. Bonaventure as the Bonnies defeated the
Duquesne Dukes, 68-60, at the Reilly Center.
Mosley was 4-of-7 from 3-point range for the Bonnies (10-10, 3-4 A-10), who
have won three of their last four after a six-game slump. Jordan Gathers was
perfect from the field going 5-of-5, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc, for
13 points while Demetrius Conger added 11.
Still winless in conference play, the Dukes (7-14, 0-7) lost their ninth game
in a row despite having four players in double-figure scoring. Sean Johnson,
Kadeem Pantophlet, and Jeremiah Jones scored 11 points each while Derrick
Colter had 10 points and seven assists. Johnson led the team with six
rebounds.
The Bonnies shot 50.0 percent from the field and earned a 16-9 rebounding edge
in the first half, carrying a 39-28 lead into the break.
The Bonnies shooting dropped to just 36.4 percent from the field in the second
half but they were able to hold on for the win by hitting all eight of their
attempts from the free-throw line.
St. Bonaventure shot 54.5 percent from beyond the arc, knocking down 12-of-22
shots while also outrebounding the Dukes, 35-24.
