Boise, ID (Sports Network) - Anthony Drmic scored 21 points as the Boise State
Broncos defeated the Wyoming Cowboys, 68-61, in a Mountain West Conference
affair at Taco Bell Arena.
Derrick Marks added 17 points for Boise State (16-7, 4-5 MWC) which had lost
three of its last four games.
Derrious Gilmore poured in 26 points, Leonard Washington had 18 points and 14
rebounds and Josh Adams chipped in 13 points for Wyoming (16-7, 2-7) which has
lost five of its last six.
Boise State dominated the first half and led 37-19 at halftime by shooting
55.6 percent from the field in the first 20 minutes.
After the break Wyoming heated up to 53.8 percent shooting but the Broncos
were able to hold on by shooting 44.4 percent and hitting 6-of-10 from the
free-throw line.
Boise State outscored Wyoming, 40-30, in the paint and 16-6 in points off
turnovers.
