New York, NY (Sports Network) - Jakob Silfverberg's tally late in the third
period was the decider, as the Ottawa Senators snapped a four-game skid with a
3-2 decision over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
Zack Smith and Patrick Wiercioch also scored for the Senators, who hadn't won
since Feb. 25 against Montreal and notched their first road victory since Feb.
18 at New Jersey.
Robin Lehner recorded 33 saves for the victory.
Rick Nash and Brad Richards provided offense for the Rangers, whose four-game
win streak came to an end.
Henrik Lundqvist made 36 stops in defeat.
