Albany, NY (Sports Network) - Anthony Jackson paced four teammates in double
figures with 16 points as the top-seeded Stony Brook Seawolves made easy work
of the eighth-seeded Binghamton Bearcats, 72-49, in the quarterfinal round of
the America East Conference Tournament at SEFCU Arena.
Jameel Warney tallied 12 points and nine rebounds for Stony Brook (23-6),
while Scott King added 13 points. Dave Coley chipped in 11 points for the
Seawolves, who have won seven straight.
For Binghamton (3-26), Jordan Reed scored 16 points and grabbed eight boards,
Taylor Johnston netted 13 points off the bench and Jimmy Gray contributed 11
points.
Stony Brook will play the winner of Albany/Maine in Sunday's semifinals.
