Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators will head out on a
five-game road trip without two of their top offensive players.
The Predators placed forwards Patric Hornqvist and Colin Wilson on injured
reserve Monday.
Wilson has seven goals and 12 assists for a team-high 19 points in 25 games
this season, while Hornqvist has three goals and five assists in 14 games.
Both players are dealing with upper-body injuries.
In addition, the club recalled forward Matt Halischuk from Milwaukee of the
AHL and activated forward Brandon Yip from IR. Halischuk has one assist in 16
games for the Predators this season, while Yip hasn't played since March 2 and
has two goals with three assists in 19 games.
The Predators start their road trip Tuesday against the Stars.
