This weekend in Quebec, Lakeville's Cameron Naasz will try to become the first American to ever win the Red Bull Crashed Ice points championship.

After a breakthrough win two weeks ago in Switzerland, the St. Cloud State student is poised to take home the title. Naasz sits alone in first place but the competition will be fierce in this daring sport in which the racers, on skates, hurtle down an icy track.

Here is an interview Naasz did with Eric Perkins in the KARE 11 studios earlier this week.
