Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Tennessee Titans made another move to
bolster their defense, reportedly agreeing to a deal with former Baltimore
Ravens safety Bernard Pollard.
According to the Tennessean, Pollard has worked out a one-year contract with
the Titans.
It's the second safety the Titans have added this offseason. George Wilson
joined the club in February after being released by the Buffalo Bills.
Pollard was released by the Ravens earlier this month after spending two
seasons in Baltimore. He led the Super Bowl champs with 98 tackles during the
2012 regular season, adding two sacks and one interception in 13 games.
In addition, Pollard recorded 17 tackles and a forced fumble in four playoff
games.
The 28-year-old Purdue product spent his first three NFL seasons with Kansas
City and also played two years in Houston. He has nine interceptions, nine
sacks and 584 tackles in seven NFL seasons.
