St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies have placed
outfielder/first baseman Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list with an
inflamed cervical disc.
The move is retroactive to May 9 and the Rockies will call up outfielder
Charlie Blackmon from Triple-A Colorado Springs to fill the roster spot.

a .319 batting average with seven homers and 23 RBI in 31 games this season.
The Rockies will look to Blackmon to try and fill Cuddyer's production. The
26-year-old hit three homers and knocked in 21 runs while batting .336 in 31
