Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Mark Buehrle tossed seven innings of one-run
baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays scored twice in the seventh inning to claim
a 2-1 victory over the Boston Red Sox in the rubber match of a three-game
Buehrle (9-7) gave up 10 hits while striking out four for the Blue Jays, who
have won two in a row since a three-game skid. The left-hander has won his
last four decisions.
Mark DeRosa and Brett Lawrie each had an RBI in the seventh for Toronto.
Jacoby Ellsbury drove in the lone run for the Red Sox, who went 4-6 on a 10-
game road trip. Boston starter Jake Peavy (9-5) allowed two runs on four hits
over six-plus innings.
