GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Recent Hall of Fame inductee Cris Carter has two feet firmly in the NFL history books, and now he has written his own book.
The former Minnesota Viking's book is an insightful page-turner titled "Going Deep: How Wide Receivers Became the Most Compelling Figures in Pro Sports."
"Going Deep" takes an in-depth look into Carter's personal experiences during his 16-year career as a wide receiver and how the position has become the most compelling figures in Pro Sports.
In a line from his new book, Cris Carter says, "Wide receivers went from being obscure and unassuming to being known for their electric play and-in some cases-their over-the-top personalities."
Carter will be signing copies of his new book at Mall of America on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Rotunda. In honor of his new book, ESPN will be broadcasting live during the event beginning at 10 a.m.
Cris is currently a co-host of ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown.
